"You okay?"

"What?"

"Sound out of breath."  He did not want to think of why she might be out of breath at this time of the morning.

"Oh...knocked the phone off the nightstand, it was up under the bed and took some effort to get it."  She took another deep breath.  "What's up?"

He supposed that sounded legit.  "Assault and rape in midtown.  I'll swing by and pick you up."

He finds a sweatshirt that still smells of her and stands for what feels like an age with it in his hands, looking, feeling. It's her, he can see her wearing it, her body within it, her movements and her life. He never wants to let go. In the end, it takes him till lunchtime to move again.

A collection of post-eps for season 11 that will attempt to explore the depth of the relationship between Olivia and Elliot; that reciprocal emotional dependency between them in which the loss of their interpersonal boundaries have caused them to become so intermingled neither can be certain where he or she stops and the other begins.  All they know is that the other is an integral facet of their life, their very survival.

Excerpt from Savior -

Even though she was not looking at him he could see that her makeup was a mess and that she had been crying.  Fresh tears flowed down her face when he called her name.  She tried to wipe them away before she looked up at him, but they were coming too freely.  Her eyes swollen from crying, the edges rimmed in red, were filled with despair.

 

“You okay?”  He was not sure he wanted to hear the answer although he already knew she was not.

 

“El, you were right.  I…I couldn’t do it,” she sniffled and looked away from his again, putting her head in her hands.

A little EO Christmas ditty.

Patrice doesn't like losing, and Alex knows precisely how to deal with guilt.

Not exactly a post ep...but starting off with the scene in the squad room with Laurel and Olivia in Smut. Olivia is having problems coping with what happened at Sealview, Elliot learns that Olivia has put in a transfer request, and the arrival of a young woman at the 1-6 calls into question whether Elliot truly knows everything about his partner's past.

Excerpt from Chapter 33:

She had lost control. She wasn’t sure how. She wasn’t sure when. No, wait…scratch that. That was a lie, and she was supposed to be working toward the truth now.

She had known when. She just wasn’t ready to admit it yet. She wasn’t ready to admit that her actions were just another item to be checked off on some list of reactions of a sexual assault victim. Oh, wait…the correct term was supposed to be survivor. She didn’t want to be a survivor. And she definitely didn’t want to be a victim. She just wanted to pretend that nothing had ever happened.

She wondered where that would fall on some damn psychiatrist’s list.

Probably under denial.

Alex’s head snaps up, her eyes flying to the detective standing in her doorway with a large brown paper bag in her hand.

Her first thought is, Shit. Her second is, Goddamnit, the woman seems to get sexier every time I see her.

“I brought dinner,” Olivia holds the bag up in offering. “Hope that’s ok.”

Alex and Olivia develop their relationship.
